| The boat dive trip in Catalina Island was fun and challenging. We were a group of ten. Taking the Great Escape to Catalina Island to have our final exam. If we passed, we will get the cert. If not, sorry, you're not qualified.
We had 3 dive on yesterday. The first dive is easy. We just went down to the bottom of the ocean, and did some technique under water which is fogging the mask, replace the most regulator. The 2nd dive was easy too. We went down, take off the mask and replace the mask. After we done, our instructor show us around the ridge. It's so beautiful underneth. We were swimming with a group of fishes. We saw a big red in color fish. He was wondering who we were. And swimming close to us. After the 5 mins trip. We need to get back to the boat and go to another spot.
The 3rd dive was crazy. The boat stopped at a strong current spot. Me and my brother were the first few jumped to the water. Then, but the currect was so strong, we had to kick so hardly to stay with our assistant instructor and waited for others to come to the water. It's very TIRING. We struggled on the surface for half hr, finally, we were ready to desent. We were supposed to desent to 45' and should land on a big rock. But then since the current is strong, while we were decending, we got "blow" to the other side, which is almost 100' deep to the bottom. It's very DANGEROUS. Our instructor Jeannie was very mad, since most of us didn't look at the computer. (my brother did, when we reached 50' deep, he noticed that there was something wrong, so, he gave me signal to accent.) and look for our original spot to land..........to be continue |
